Pocketpair has released the v1.0.2 patch for Palworld, targeting a series of bug fixes, performance issues, and control options following the creature-collecting survival crafting game's departure from early access in July.

Quick Facts

  • Game: Palworld
  • Developer: Pocketpair
  • Patch Version: v1.0.2
  • Release Date: July 2026
  • Platforms: Multi-Platform (PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S/X)

Boss Fight and Co-Op Fixes

The most impactful adjustments in this update center on major boss encounters. Previously, co-op players taking on the Panthalus boss fight faced sudden disconnections or complete game crashes when joining a friend's world. Pocketpair confirms that players can now take on Panthalus in co-op without fear of ejection.

Additionally, the tower boss fight featuring Victor & Shadowbeak received a fix. Prior to the patch, the boss would sometimes disappear completely after teleporting, but they will now remain visible and part of the battle regardless of which spell they use.

Achievements, Softlocks, and Visuals

The update also addresses progression blockers and tracking errors:

  • Fixed a softlock that occurred when skipping dialogue while The First Islander and Captured Adventurer missions faded out.
  • Resolved the Predator Hunter achievement and achievements tied to collecting Pal Effigies across all platforms.
  • Ironed out Lifmunk Effigy achievement bugs specifically on Xbox.
  • Updated control options to make selecting key bindings easier while carrying over previous settings.
  • Corrected graphical issues in The World Tree area to clean up visual glitches.

Palworld v1.0.2 is live now across platforms.
