1C Game Studios has released the second hotfix for Korea. IL-2 Series. The 1.003 patch, which went live on August 6, 2026, focuses on resolving stability issues, improving multiplayer functionality, and correcting specific aircraft progression elements in the Career mode.

- Stability: Resolved an issue causing incorrect behavior when using the Alt-Tab keyboard shortcut.
- Multiplayer: Corrected logic for modification permissions and fixed an error that occurred when track files exceeded the maximum size limit.
- Aircraft Modifications: Updated the availability dates for several MiG-15 upgrades in Career mode, including the NR-23 mod (Nov 1, 1951), additional armor (Mar 1, 1952), airbrakes (Sep 1, 1952), sirens (Oct 1, 1952), and the PPK G-suit (May 1, 1953).
- Visuals and Localization: Updated the unique skin for the F-84 and corrected descriptions for the MiG-15bis and various pilot biographies.
