Update 1.0.8 for DragonSword: Awakening is now live on PC, addressing several technical issues that impacted combat fluidity when using the dash mechanic. This patch follows the previous 1.0.7 update, which introduced Quick Entry and various inventory quality-of-life adjustments.
Resolved Combat Issues
The latest patch focuses specifically on resolving bugs triggered when players dash by holding the dodge key. These fixes ensure that combat states and abilities remain active as intended:
- Dash State Correction: Fixed an issue where characters would incorrectly switch to a non-combat state when dashing.
- Ability Interruptions: Resolved bugs where Sion’s Relic was retrieved early, and Theresia’s [Inquisition] or Kalsion’s [Royal Flame] states were ended prematurely during combat due to dash inputs.
Action Required
Players should ensure their game client is updated via Steam to receive these fixes. All previous quality-of-life improvements from version 1.0.7—including expanded Rune inventory limits, the Quick Entry feature, and adjusted dungeon respawn mechanics—remain in effect.
DLC Update
The remaining swimsuit DLC items for Cerese are still pending a Steam review. The development team expects this review to be completed by Friday, August 7, 2026.
