Sony Interactive Entertainment added the cooperative hit to the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium tiers, expanding access for subscribers. Sony Senior Vice President of Marketing Mary Yee noted that the addition strengthens the catalog value as player numbers across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, and PC crossed 22.9 million players as of August 9, 2026.
Warhammer 40,000 Warbond and Patch 7.0.0
Alongside the catalog debut, the game receives the Warhammer 40,000: Castellan’s Creed Legendary Warbond. Simultaneously, update 7.0.0—titled Devoid of Liberty—launches a horror-themed narrative arc. The update introduces mutated Illuminate organisms, a new biome affected by a mysterious void, a level cap increase, and fresh battlefield horrors.
Looking further ahead, a film adaptation produced by Sony Pictures and PlayStation Productions remains scheduled for theatrical release on November 10, 2027.
