Gunman Contracts Stand Alone, the action-movie inspired first-person shooter, is scheduled to launch in Early Access on the exact same day that Valve releases its long-awaited Steam Frame VR headset.

During the VR Games Showcase, a new trailer confirmed the release plan for the project. While an exact date for the Steam Frame remains unannounced outside of a general summer shipping window, Valve's hardware rollout will mark the arrival of the shooter's Early Access debut.

To be clear, this does not mean the game comes included with the hardware purchase. Gunman Contracts Stand Alone will simply hit the digital storefront on launch day alongside the headset.

Gameplay and Availability

Inspired by action cinema—drawing clear comparisons to John Wick—players take on the role of a professional hitman cleaning up a ruthless criminal underworld. The shooter supports both virtual reality and flat-screen play on PC.

Players can already wishlist the game on Steam ahead of its eventual Early Access release.
