ARC Raiders, the multiplayer third-person extraction shooter developed by Embark Studios, has surpassed 16.3 million copies sold worldwide. Parent publisher Nexon announced the milestone during its latest Q2 earnings call, noting that the $40 original intellectual property added 800,000 units during the most recent quarter.

Quick Facts

  • Total Sales: Over 16.3 million copies sold to date.
  • Recent Growth: 800,000 units sold during the June quarter.
  • Revenue: Generated more than ¥88 billion ($551.6 million) since its October launch.
  • Developer: Embark Studios (owned by Tokyo-based publisher Nexon).

Sales Trajectory and Updates

While the cumulative total for the extraction shooter remains high, sales have flattened following a rapid surge after its late October 2025 launch. Nexon reported that sales reached 14 million by the fourth calendar quarter of 2025, describing current sales momentum as "normalizing" more than nine months out.

Following a drop in concurrent players earlier this year, Embark shifted away from weekly and monthly content drops on May 13 to focus on larger updates. The studio is preparing its largest content release since launch, titled Frozen Trail, scheduled to drop on October 8.

International Testing and Performance

Beyond global sales figures, Nexon reported progress on regional availability. In July, the company and its partner Tencent ran a Closed Alpha Test for ARC Raiders in China that surpassed registration targets. Financial performance remains strong overall, with the game generating over ¥88 billion (approximately $551.6 million) since hitting the market.
