System Shock VR Announced for PC, Meta Quest, and PS VR2

Nightdive Studios is following up its 2023 remake with System Shock VR, a virtual reality game currently being developed by Flat2VR Studios. The title is slated for PC via SteamVR, Meta Quest, and PS VR2.

Game Scope and Availability

Rather than adopting a spinoff approach in the vein of Half-Life: Alyx, the Steam description clarifies that System Shock VR functions as a straight virtual reality translation of the original immersive sim. Players step into the role of the hacker caught infiltrating TriOp, struck with Edward Diego's deal before waking up to the Citadel Station crisis six months later.

System Shock VR is currently up for wishlisting on Steam. A specific release date has not yet been announced by the developers.
