Hell Let Loose: Vietnam is now available on PC via Steam. The launch has seen significant player interest, with concurrent counts reaching triple the all-time peak of the original Hell Let Loose. Due to this high volume, the development team is currently managing server demand and addressing reported stability issues.
Quick Facts
- Platform: PC (Steam)
- Release Status: Now available
- NVIDIA Drivers: Dedicated Game Ready Driver expected early next week
- Upcoming Features: FSR 4.1 support is currently in validation
Server Capacity and Access
In response to launch-day demand, the team is deploying additional official servers across all regions. If you encounter difficulty finding an open match, developers suggest joining servers with 50 or fewer players, as these typically fill rapidly. You can also use the "Hide Full Servers" option in the server browser to filter for available slots.
Some players have reported difficulty joining Community Servers due to error messages regarding VIP reservations. The team is currently investigating these reports, noting that the error message may appear incorrectly when a server reaches capacity before the browser refreshes.
AMD GPU Stability Workarounds
Players using AMD hardware who are experiencing crashes may find relief with the following temporary workarounds:
- Launch Options: Add
-dx12 -USEALLAVAILABLECORES -malloc=systemor-dx11 -USEALLAVAILABLECORES -malloc=systemto the game's Steam launch settings. - Graphics Settings: Set in-game graphics to High.
- Overlay: Disable the in-game overlay within the AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition.
Tutorials and Gameplay
While the general "Getting Started" tutorial can be skipped by pressing Esc, the game requires the completion of specific tutorials before players can select the Squad Leader or Commander roles. If you previously participated in the PC Crossplay Playtest, it is recommended to reset your Video settings to default to ensure proper calibration for the live build.
