A day one patch for Cult of PiN is now live on PC via Steam, bringing critical bug fixes alongside massive increases to the game's score ceilings and Endless Mode stage boundaries. Developer Kenny rolled out the hotfix following launch day feedback from players pushing the arcade title past its initial parameters.
Quick Facts
- Platform: PC (Steam)
- Endless Mode limit: Increased from Act XX (20) to Act XXX (30)
- Score ceiling: Raised from 2.4 billion to 9.2 quintillion
- Mission requirements: Cheater Ball Ritual and Warden Ball Ritual reduced from 8 to 6
Confirmed Changes and Player Impact
The update targets players pushing deep runs by expanding the Endless Mode stage limit to Act XXX. Leaderboard support has been added for score values up to 9.2 quintillion, and previous scores exceeding the old 2.4 billion limit have been recalculated to reflect actual performance.
Balance adjustments reduce mission requirements for the Cheater Ball Ritual and Warden Ball Ritual from eight down to six. Several critical bugs have also been resolved, including an Endless Mode crash linked to a broken Curse configuration, incorrect triggers for the "Pinball God" achievement, and a failure with the 100,000,000 score achievement. Key rebinding issues for the "Peek-Up" control and the activation failure for the Inverted Flipper Curse have additionally been fixed.
Action Required for Players
PC players do not need to change any settings or manually adjust saves. Steam handles the update automatically upon launching or refreshing the client. Existing save data and previous scores above the old threshold will update automatically to reflect the revised caps.
