Developer Oren Koren has announced the first major update for Don’t Lose Aggro, the singleplayer action roguelite currently available in Steam Early Access. Following player feedback collected since the game's April 2026 launch, the update focuses on deepening the game's core tank mechanics.
Key Gameplay Changes
The update introduces a comprehensive rework of the threat system, designed to make aggro management more tactical and responsive. Players will also be able to manage larger parties, shifting the gameplay closer to a simulated raid experience where tracking multiple threats is essential. To support these changes, the update includes:
- New Companion: A 'Summoner' class that allows players to lead an army of undead.
- Expanded Gear: New weapons and shields to support diverse tanking styles such as dodging, blocking, and kiting.
- Buffs and Debuffs: New status effects intended to provide more build variety during each run.
- Dungeon Modifiers: Randomized twists to keep combat encounters fresh.
Steam Deck and Linux Support
For handheld players, the game remains Steam Deck Verified. While there is no native Linux build, the developer notes that the Windows version is playable on Linux systems via Proton through Steam.
