Bedtime Digital Games has announced Chosen by Odin, a new 1-3 player co-op action game heading to Linux and Windows via Steam. Revealed during Xbox’s Gamescom showcase, the title puts players in the role of a fallen Viking warrior tasked with hunting down the cults of Ragnarok across the Nine Realms.

Gameplay Loop and Fate Dice System
Each run mixes set quests, random events, hidden rewards, and deadly bosses. Once the main goal is complete, players must escape while enemy hordes close in under mounting pressure. Solo play is supported alongside the core 1-3 player co-op experience.
The core cooperative mechanic centers around the Fate Dice system. Players craft dice with thousands of possible variants. During a quest, everyone rolls on a shared Blessing Drafts table, which changes the available upgrade pool. Participants then take turns picking upgrades that can aid their own build or support a teammate.
Playtest and Linux Availability
A Steam page and Playtest sign-up are currently live. Linux users can access the Playtest using Proton, though native support and Steam Deck compatibility have not been officially confirmed by the studio.
