Gameplay and Narrative Updates

Led by Ubisoft Singapore, Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is a complete reconstruction of the 2013 original. While set once again during the Golden Age of Piracy, the remake introduces several mechanical changes:

  • Combat: New parry-driven combat systems.
  • Movement: Improved stealth and parkour mechanics.
  • Naval: Deeper naval gameplay interactions.
  • Content: New narrative additions to the Edward Kenway story.

Players follow the story of pirate captain Edward Kenway as he navigates the conflict between Assassins and Templars, encountering historical figures like Blackbeard, Anne Bonny, and Calico Jack. The game is currently verified for use on the Steam Deck.
