Pawprint Studio has confirmed that its upcoming creature-collecting RPG, Aniimo, will feature Nvidia ACE technology. The integration allows players to interact with their creatures using natural language, moving beyond traditional scripted responses to create a more responsive gameplay loop.
How the AI Interaction Works
According to Nvidia, the technology will run on RTX GPUs, allowing players to chat with their creatures within the game's "homeland" base. Beyond simple conversation, players can use these interactions to teach creatures new skills, specifically focusing on resource gathering tasks like crafting and mining.
To maintain control over game logic and prevent unintended behavior, Pawprint Studio has implemented specific action and response guardrails. These ensure that AI-powered creatures are limited to select activities within the home base area, responding to player input with distinct animations and emojis.
Quick Facts
- Technology: Nvidia ACE (Generative AI)
- Expected Integration: Early 2027
- Platform: PC (RTX GPU required for ACE features)
- Scope: Limited to home base activities and specific creature tasks
While the game's official Steam page currently lists a broad "coming soon" release window, the early 2027 timeline for the ACE integration provides a clearer target for when players can expect to experience these AI-driven features. Aniimo is currently in development for PC, Xbox Series S/X, and iOS.
