A new limited-time event has arrived in Pokémon Pokopia, featuring Zorua and a game of hide-and-sneak. Running from July 19, 2026, at 5 AM local time through July 27, 2026, at 4:59 AM local time, this event challenges players to use Ditto's transformation ability to reach a Pokémon Center PC without getting caught.
Here is how to win Zorua's hide and sneak contest in Pokémon Pokopia, along with the requirements and rewards you can earn before the event concludes.
- Unlock Bleak Beach, rebuild its Pokémon Center, and welcome Zorua by completing its requests.
- Learn Ditto's Transformation ability.
- Speak with Zorua outside any Pokémon Center to begin the hide-and-sneak mini-game.
- Use Transform to disguise yourself as an object and sneak to the Pokémon Center PC within the time limit.
- Reach the PC to collect your rewards and a trophy if your record is under one minute.
Event Requirements
Before you can participate in the Zorua hide-and-sneak event guide requirements, make sure your game progress meets the necessary milestones. Zorua is a normal Pokémon found by progressing normally through the game rather than being introduced by this update. You will need to have:
- Unlocked Bleak Beach.
- Rebuilt the Pokémon Center on Bleak Beach.
- Welcomed Zorua and completed its requests.
- Learned the Transformation ability.
Time traveling is disabled for this event, meaning you cannot adjust your system clock to complete it late. If you miss the July 27 deadline, you will have to wait until the event potentially returns.
How to Win the Hide-And-Sneak Contest
To start the contest, speak with Zorua stationed outside any Pokémon Center. You will drop into a random location near the center, while Zorua and two other searcher Pokémon patrol the area in front of the building. Watch for speech bubbles over their heads to spot seekers.
Use Ditto's transform ability to turn into an object. Smaller objects generally make it easier to move quickly without being spotted. Only move when the searching Pokémon face away and maintain a safe distance. If a searcher stops to inspect a spot where they think they saw you, stay completely still until they resume seeking.
A reliable route involves sneaking around the back of the Pokémon Center and approaching the PC from the side, as the searchers primarily stay stationed in front. Once you get close enough to the PC, interact with it to end the game.
Zorua Hide-And-Sneak Event Rewards
Your performance is determined by how quickly you reach the PC. If you earn the top reward on your first attempt, you automatically receive all lower-tier rewards at once. Rewards include Lumber, Leppa Berries, Rainbow Feathers, Silver Feathers, Pokemetal Ingots, and Rare Pokemetal Ingots. Setting a record time under one minute also awards the event's exclusive trophy.
