Nintendo of Europe has officially announced its playable line-up for this year's Gamescom event in Cologne, Germany. The event, which runs from 26th to 30th August 2026, will give attendees hands-on time with a variety of titles for the Nintendo Switch 2.
Confirmed Playable Titles
The showcase includes several high-profile third-party releases as well as Nintendo-published titles. Key games confirmed for the show floor include:
- Nintendo Switch Sports Resort
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4
- Orbitals
- 007 First Light
- Minecraft Dungeons II
- EA Sports FC 27
- Splatoon Raiders
- Pokémon Pokopia
- Metaphor: ReFantazio
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 represents a significant addition to the line-up, marking the first entry in the Activision franchise to arrive on the Switch 2 platform as part of the binding contract between Nintendo and Microsoft.
What to Expect
While the company has confirmed this initial list, it has indicated that additional titles will be present at the event. Attendees should anticipate a mix of upcoming software and games already available, such as Splatoon Raiders. As of now, Nintendo has not confirmed if it will provide further information or playable demos for other highly anticipated titles, such as The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, ahead of the event.
The announcement comes as Nintendo prepares to release its latest financial data this week, which may lead to further software reveals to address investor interest.
