Publisher AMATA Games and developer Noto Muteki have announced that Kinki Spiritual Affairs Bureau will launch for the Nintendo Switch 2 on July 30, 2026. The Japanese-style horror third-person shooter first arrived on PC via Steam on October 4, 2024, followed by PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series versions on July 15, 2025.

Combat and Gameplay Features
Unlike classic Japanese horror titles where protagonists cannot fight back against spirits, Kinki Spiritual Affairs Bureau puts players on equal footing with the paranormal threats. The core gameplay loop blends unarmed combat, gun shooting, and stealth action across 10 distinct stages.
The release includes numerous story-driven cutscenes to drive the narrative forward. To accommodate different skill levels, AMATA Games and Noto Muteki built four difficulty settings into the package, allowing both beginners and advanced players to replay the game.
Switch 2 Controls and Customization
Nintendo Switch 2 players gain access to a platform-exclusive feature: support for mouse-like pointer controls using the Joy-Con 2. Additionally, the game includes fully customizable button configurations for game controllers, letting players tailor the control scheme to their preferences.
