Additionally, the Switch 2 version includes GameShare support and exclusive bonus content: the "Old World Fantasy" palette for Platinum and a "Dango Balloon" chibi avatar.
What's Included in the Major Update?
The upcoming content drop is not limited to the new console release. On August 13, a free update will be available for all existing versions of the game. The highlight is the introduction of Platinum as a new playable character, expanding the roster of 17 unique fighters available in the roguelite. The update also brings significant quality-of-life improvements, including an overhauled Training Space and new branching route options designed to change the flow of each run.
First released on February 12, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch, BlazBlue: Entropy Effect X tasks players with guiding the protagonist, Ace, through the "Sea of Possibility" to save a collapsing world. The game combines fast-paced, 2D action with a narrative centered around the mysterious "Lab" and its researchers' attempts to secure Shards of Possibility.
