The first Expansion Pass DLC for Pokemon Pokopia, titled Bubbly Basin, officially launched on August 5, 2026. This update introduces an underwater town, new furniture and outfits, additional Pokemon, and a new Dive ability for players to navigate beneath the waves.

Pokemon Pokopia Train Experience
To promote the expansion, a dedicated Pokemon Pokopia-themed train began service on August 2, 2026. The exterior of the train features custom artwork, while the interior includes seat designs inspired by the Pokemon Ditto and wall decorations showcasing various Water-type creatures.
The promotion extends to the station level, with Minato Mirai Station receiving a full Pokemon Pokopia makeover. These themed decorations are scheduled to remain in place through September 25, 2026.
Future Expansion Plans
Bubbly Basin serves as the first part of the Pokemon Pokopia Expansion Pass. Further features are scheduled to arrive later in 2026, with a second entirely new town planned for release in 2027.
