A potential collaboration between Palworld and Fortnite has become the subject of speculation following a recent Epic Games player survey and public comments from the Palworld development team. While these developments suggest interest, no official crossover has been confirmed by either studio.
The Source of the Rumors
The speculation began after prominent Fortnite leaker HYPEX shared details from an internal Epic Games survey. The survey asked players if they had played Palworld within the previous two weeks. Such surveys are standard practice for Epic to gauge community interest in various properties, though appearance in a survey does not guarantee that a partnership will follow.
Shortly after the survey surfaced, John “Bucky” Buckley, the publishing and communications lead at Palworld developer Pocketpair, engaged with the community on social media. He asked followers which creatures from the game's 1.0 release they would select for a hypothetical Fortnite skin. Buckley repeatedly emphasized that there was “absolutely no promise” of such a project being realized.
Previous Interest in Collaboration
This is not the first time the two parties have been linked publicly. In January 2026, Buckley invited the Fortnite team to reach out if they were interested in integrating Palworld. Robby Williams, a gameplay producer at Epic Games, has also previously stated he would “love” to see Fortnite explore creature-collecting experiences.
