League of Legends streamer and former pro player Caedrel is swapping Summoner’s Rift for a purpose-built karting circuit, joining four-time Formula One champion Max Verstappen for an unusual 100-driver race.

Quick Facts

  • Event: Max vs 100 karting challenge
  • Date: September 16, 2026
  • Location: Silverstone circuit, England (no spectators allowed on-site)
  • Broadcasters: Disney+ and the ESPN App

Organized to test whether Verstappen can carve his way through an entire field of competitors, the race places all 100 opposing karts directly between the F1 driver and the finish line. Alongside Caedrel, the star-studded grid includes streamer TheGrefg, TheDonato, ultrarunner Arda Saatçi, basketball shooting specialist Chris “Lethal Shooter” Matthews, and freestyle mountain biker Matt Jones.

Unlike standard F1 rules, Verstappen will be able to communicate directly with his fellow drivers during the event, offering fans a direct window into the strategy and on-track chaos. With 101 total karts navigating the purpose-built circuit designed by French racing driver David Terrien, traffic and racecraft will play a decisive role.

For League of Legends fans tuning in, the broadcast offers a chance to see Caedrel navigate high-speed traffic and attempt to hold off a professional racing driver when the karts hit Silverstone.
