Kick creator Ozemi is facing public scrutiny following a series of IRL streams in Japan that feature incidents of alleged assault and theft. The broadcasts have drawn significant attention on social media, leading to reports that local authorities were alerted to his actions.
The Incidents in Osaka
The controversy began after an encounter with fellow Kick streamer Nanatty. Footage shared on X shows Ozemi approaching Nanatty and pouring a drink—which he identified as beer—over her head before fleeing the scene. Following the incident, Nanatty was filmed approaching local police officers to report the encounter.
Ozemi later addressed the confrontation on X, characterizing his actions as "just content." Prior to this, Nanatty herself faced backlash for using a racial slur during a separate group stream in Osaka, an incident for which she later claimed she did not realize the word's offensive nature.
Bicycle Theft Allegations
In a separate livestream, Ozemi was recorded entering the driveway of a private residence, attempting to open the door of a parked car, and eventually riding away on a bicycle. The clip circulated widely under accusations of theft.
Ozemi has denied that the bike incident was a genuine crime, claiming in an X post that the footage was "scripted" with a local resident he met. As of now, no homeowner has publicly filed a complaint, and no Japanese police department has confirmed any criminal proceedings regarding the bicycle or the previous altercation.

Despite the viral nature of these clips, Ozemi's Kick channel remains active. The platform has not issued a public statement regarding his conduct. This incident adds to a growing list of controversies involving foreign streamers in Japan, including previous cases where creators were detained or faced legal action for disruptive behavior in public spaces.
