Square Enix showcased a new look at Final Fantasy VII Revelation during gamescom Opening Night Live 2026, confirming that iconic superbosses from the original title will return for the final entry of the remake trilogy. Director Naoki Hamaguchi introduced footage featuring revamped versions of the Ruby, Emerald, and Ultima Weapons, which are slated to serve as challenging endgame encounters.
