Two Cities and Open-World Exploration
The release date announcement arrived during Gamescom Opening Night Live, accompanied by a new look at Chongxiao's Lingyun City. Serving as the main character's hometown, Lingyun City is a vast, green metropolis and represents the second major city confirmed for the game alongside Nova City.
Rather than focusing purely on combat mechanics like Spider-Man-esque traversal powers and Watch Dogs-inspired hacking, the Gamescom showcase highlighted everyday urban activities. Players can explore flying cars, busy markets, skateboarding, swordfights, martial arts brawls, and amusement park minigames.
The narrative tasks players with rebuilding Nova City's peacekeeping organization, the A.C.D. The protagonist's journey kicks off by going viral under the alias "Yeet Master," with the trailer featuring nods to pop culture staples including The Great Gatsby's toast scene and Dragon Ball poses. These elements build upon the foundation shown in the September 2025 gameplay trailer, which introduced a GTA-like open world featuring concerts, comic book stores, social media, and power slap competitions alongside otherworldly threats.
