Changes to the Qualifier Path
This year's structure features a notable shift: Valve reduced the number of direct invites from eight to seven, allocating the additional spot to the regional qualifiers. Furthermore, the European region was unified into a single bracket covering both Eastern and Western Europe, resulting in four total qualifying spots for the region.
While top-tier organizations like Team Spirit and Team Vision were expected by many to receive direct invites, both were required to compete in the unified European qualifiers due to inconsistent seasonal results and roster changes. They ultimately secured their spots alongside Nigma Galaxy and HULIGANI.
