The Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 competitive season concludes this August in Paris, France, with the Esports World Cup 2026. Running from August 5 to August 9 at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, the event serves as the final major tournament for the title, featuring a $1.8 million prize pool.

Tournament Format and Schedule

The competition begins with a Group Stage using a GSL-style double-elimination format, split into two groups of eight teams. Matches in this stage are best-of-five (Bo5) series. The top four teams from each group will advance to the single-elimination Playoffs held on August 8 and 9.

Playoff matches will transition to a best-of-seven (Bo7) format, while the grand final will be decided in a best-of-nine (Bo9) series. Teams advancing from the upper side of their groups will be randomly paired against lower-side qualifiers, with the restriction that teams from the same group cannot face each other in the opening round.
