The 2026 Call of Duty: Warzone Resurgence Series Championship is currently underway in Paris, France, featuring 32 elite squads competing for a $1 million prize pool. The tournament, hosted as part of the Esports World Cup, determines this year's world champion through a multi-stage event concluding with a Match Point final.

Tournament Schedule and Format

The competition is structured across three distinct stages to whittle down the field of 32 teams:

  • Group Stage: July 30 to August 1. Teams compete in 12 matches per group across Haven’s Hollow, Rebirth Island, and Fortune’s Keep.
  • Survival Stage: August 1. A 10-match gauntlet for teams that did not secure a direct path to the finals during the Group Stage.
  • Match Point Finals: August 2. The championship stage where teams must reach 150 points to enter Match Point status, followed by a match win to claim the title.

Daily play for all stages begins at 9am ET / 3pm CEST / 11pm AEST.

Key Contenders

Defending champions Twisted Minds return to the stage, with Almond now joined by Blazt and Shifty. They face significant pressure from Team Falcons—the trio of Hisoka, Newbzz, and Dongy—who enter the event following consecutive WRS victories at DreamHack Birmingham and Atlanta.
