The 19-year-old player reached a tally of 5,434 points, surpassing the previous mark of 5,415 held by Liam “MaiL09” Tugel. With eight days remaining in the current season, donk has a window to push his numbers even higher before the season closes.

The Season 8 Elo Climb

That Elo grind aligned with an uptick in individual form in tier-one competitions. Season 8 kicked off in April 2026, just days after IEM Rio 2026, where Spirit reached the final against Team Vitality. The player maintained an eye-watering 1.46 rating across the IEM Cologne 2026 Major.

MaiL09's Previous Milestone and Current Standings

donk's season 8 push sees him reclaim the record he previously held in July 2025. That 5,350 high mark stood for nearly six months until Swedish prodigy MaiL09, then 16 years old, overtook it in November 2025. MaiL09 became the first player to push past the 5,400 mark, peaking at 5,415 points to become the youngest player ever to top the FACEIT Elo charts.

Now, just a season later, donk has taken the record back. MaiL09 currently sits at No. 61 on the EU FACEIT rankings with 4,188 Elo after taking significant breaks during the season, and is returning to Metizport's active roster for the tier-two circuit.

Spirit star donk is widely recognized as a top player in Counter-Strike 2. In his rookie year, he won MVP at the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024, set a rating record at IEM Katowice 2024, and picked up the HLTV Player of the Year award ahead of ZywOo and m0NESY. Known for mechanical prowess like the “donk-slide,” he previously earned five consecutive No. 1 rankings from season one to five on FACEIT.
