Activision has provided the first look at Zodiac, the next Resurgence map arriving in Call of Duty: Warzone. The developer shared an early layout of the map via the official Call of Duty account on X ahead of the scheduled Call of Duty: Next event.

Map Layout and Key Locations

Zodiac is designed as a compact island centered around industrial and research facilities. A network of roads connects the map's 10 named points of interest (POIs), which are expected to serve as primary combat zones:

  • Central Landmark: Trackline
  • Research & Industrial: Admin, Dispatch, R&D, Furnace, and Cooling
  • Northern Sector: Solar and Old Mines
  • Southern Sector: Sentinel and Cooling

While the initial teaser highlights these areas, Activision has not yet detailed specific sightlines, loot density, or whether the surrounding water will support boat traversal. The map's verticality and potential underground sections remain unconfirmed at this time.

What to Expect Next

More concrete details regarding the map's flow and gameplay will likely emerge during the Call of Duty: Next event on August 21, 2026. This presentation is expected to provide the first live gameplay footage of Zodiac. Following the event, players will have the opportunity to test the map themselves during the Open Beta weekend starting the same day.
