Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Season 04 Reloaded Launches June 25

The summer heat is hitting Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 on June 25, 2026, as the Season 04 Reloaded update brings a wave of new content across Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone. The mid-season update is headlined by the arrival of iconic actor Nick Cage as a playable operator, alongside a new round-based Zombies map and the conclusion of the current Endgame story arc.

Endgame: Operation King Killer

The Guild’s dominance in Avalon faces its final stand in the new Operation King Killer. Players are tasked with pinpointing and destroying the Central Command Node through ten escalating challenges. Completing these objectives with specific operators—Samuels, Wei Lin, or Emma Kagan—earns players unique "Data Freeze" skins, with an animated weapon camo reward for those who finish the set.

To assist in these high-stakes encounters, the update introduces the Guardian Skill Track, designed to turn operators into frontline anchors. The track includes perks like Payback, which reflects damage back to attackers, and Rescue Pulse, which allows for proximity-based revives. Additionally, the new Psych Grenade minor ability allows players to inflict hallucinogenic "brain-rot" on enemies, while the Fission exotic skill offers a chance to trigger massive explosions upon killing elites.

New Multiplayer Maps and Modes

Multiplayer fans are getting a mix of new and classic content. The brand-new 6v6 map Zenith drops players into a luxury cliffside compound, while the original Black Ops map Launch returns in a remastered form. The update also adds four additional maps to the permanent Black Ops Classic rotation: Fringe, Hacienda, Gridlock, and Launch.

The playlist rotation is expanding with Team Blueprint Sharpshooter, where players cycle through rotating weapon blueprints, and Knife Fight, a 2v2 melee-only mode. Players achieving 10 double kills in Knife Fight will unlock the "Combatant" weapon charm.

Zombies: Kowakujō

The Dark Aether narrative continues in Kowakujō, a round-based Zombies map set in a feudal Japanese castle engulfed in lava. Players will battle the new Oni enemy—a heavy-armored yōkai capable of firing electric bolts—alongside fire-drenched Hellhounds. The map features a new mystical Wonder Weapon, a ghostly rifleman trap, and an Ultra-Rarity version of the classic PPSh-41 SMG available in the Mystery Box.

Those looking for a challenge can tackle Cursed Mode, which strips the HUD and limits players to a starting pistol, or complete the Main Quest to earn the "Purified" Takeo Operator skin and various calling cards.

Warzone Updates

Rebirth Island is undergoing a seasonal shift, with winter elements removed in favor of brighter, summer-themed weather. The update also marks the return of the Champion’s Quest for elite squads and introduces Squad Gun Game, a new limited-time mode that tasks teams of three with cycling through a full suite of weapons across Resurgence maps.
