Survival game players on personal computers can look forward to seasonal content as the annual Halloween event approaches. According to official store listing announcements, the upcoming update schedules new gameplay elements across multiple environments for a limited duration. Players preparing for the seasonal festivities will want to note the precise dates and operational maps before jumping into the servers. The developers have structured this update to transform several familiar regions into darker, seasonal hunting grounds for active players.
Event Schedule and Map Availability
The annual Halloween event runs from October 26th to November 6th on PC. The seasonal update takes place across the Chernarus, Livonia, and Sakhal maps. However, it is important for players to note that the Nasdara map will not receive the Halloween event. During this timeframe, survivalists will encounter distinct environmental updates and themed adversaries while traversing the supported regions. Planning your routes ahead of time ensures you do not waste precious hours running toward excluded zones that remain entirely unaffected by the seasonal shift.
In-Game Features, Infected Types, and Cosmetic Items
Event features include The Castle haunted by spooky fog, setting a grim atmosphere for active sessions. Additionally, event infected types include Mummy Infected, Jack O’ Infected, and Witch Infected. Players can also acquire various cosmetic items to customize their survivors throughout the event window. Hunting down these specific adversaries provides a change of pace from standard survival encounters while offering unique visual rewards for your character.
- Leaf crown
- Witch hat
- Witch hood
- Pumpkin helmet
