Xbox boss Asha Sharma has shared a behind-closed-doors look at The Elder Scrolls 6, drawing significant attention on social media and offering a brief glimpse into the long-awaited project's development status.
Behind-Closed-Doors Development Update
Taking to the X platform, Sharma revealed she recently viewed the game firsthand, stating that its "scale and grandeur are incredible" and calling the story "even greater." The social media post quickly reached 2.5 million views.
Following the post, Bethesda Game Studios responded to acknowledge Sharma's visit. The developer stated that "it was great being able to show you ********," utilizing asterisks to obscure the planned subtitle for The Elder Scrolls 6.
Release Timing and Expectations
While the behind-closed-doors viewing and ongoing live playthroughs have sparked speculation among players that the RPG might be nearing completion, official statements from Bethesda suggest otherwise. Bethesda's Todd Howard mentioned back in February that the game still has a ways to go before release, despite passing a major internal milestone.
No official launch window or target year has been confirmed by the studio.
