Xbox CEO Asha Sharma recently got a first-hand look at The Elder Scrolls 6 during a live gameplay demonstration at Bethesda Game Studios. Following the session, Sharma took to social media to share her reactions and tease details about the long-awaited role-playing game.

The Elder Scrolls 6 Live Playthrough Details

Sharma posted on her X account about viewing a morning live playthrough of the project, writing, "The scale and grandeur are incredible. The story is even greater." Her post also included a redacted title: The Elder Scrolls VI: ********.

The post uses eight asterisks for the game's subtitle, though Bethesda has not confirmed what the hidden word represents or how close the demo is to the final release. The studio initially announced the project over eight years ago at E3 2018.

What This Means for Players

While the teaser leaves exact plot details, platform availability, and launch windows entirely unaddressed, the demonstration indicates that director Todd Howard and Bethesda are comfortable showing internal builds outside of the immediate development team. Questions regarding whether the RPG will ship on PlayStation consoles following recent Xbox exclusivity pivots also remain unanswered for now.
