Telltale Games has confirmed that The Wolf Among Us Remastered will arrive on Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S on October 29, 2026. This updated version of the classic narrative adventure aims to modernize the original experience, which first debuted during the Xbox 360 generation.

The remaster promises a "rebuilt and refined" approach to the detective drama set in Fabletown. Beyond the visual overhaul, the game features an updated user interface, higher resolutions, and smoother performance metrics compared to the original release. The audio and animations have also been upgraded to meet current standards.
A notable addition for this release is "Noir Mode." This visual filter allows players to experience the entire narrative in a high-contrast, black-and-white presentation. The mode is not permanent and can be toggled on or off at any point during gameplay.
Availability
As of late August 2026, pricing details have not been finalized, and the game is not yet available for pre-order on the Xbox Store. Telltale Games has also confirmed that The Wolf Among Us 2 remains in development, with a current target release window of 2027.
