Jagex has confirmed that RuneScape: Dragonwilds will receive physical releases for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. While the game launches digitally on September 15, 2026, players interested in physical media can pick up Standard or Deluxe editions starting November 5, 2026.

Collector Goods and Digital Bonuses
The physical Deluxe Edition is designed for collectors, featuring a custom collector’s box and a steelbook with original artwork. Inside, players will find three embroidered skill patches, five holographic character cards, and a cloth map of the Ashenfall region.
Both physical and digital versions of the Deluxe Edition include a significant bundle of in-game content. Players receive craftable Gilded Armour with a matching cape, six retro-inspired Old School RuneScape helmets, and various house decorations, including dragon head wall mounts, ten paintings, and animated Muncher and Chinchompa figures.
Agility Skill Overhaul
Alongside the announcement of physical editions, Jagex has released Update 0.12.1 for those currently playing the Early Access version on Steam. This update focuses on the Agility skill, introducing six new courses that feature leaderboards and Gold Medal rewards.
The update also introduces a breakfall mechanic to minimize damage from drops and a horizontal dash ability. Traversal has been adjusted to include higher jumps, increased air control, and stamina improvements. Additionally, players can now gain passive Agility XP while traveling, and higher Agility levels will grant increased carrying capacity. Combat responsiveness has also been refined, with reduced movement restrictions for spellcasting and new upgrade options for Masterworks and weapons via the Mystic Forge.
