Build Settlements Using Real-World Maps
One of the core features of Infection Free Zone is the ability to use real-world map data as the foundation for your gameplay. Players can enter the name of any city or town to download a map based on that exact location, then establish a new survivor settlement within familiar streets and landmarks.
Local knowledge plays a practical role in how players approach the game. Knowing the layout helps determine which buildings make the best defensive positions, where to search for scarce food and medical supplies, and how to set up farms, power facilities, and infrastructure.
Defend Against Fast Hordes and Rival Survivors
Survival requires more than basic construction. When night falls, aggressive infected hordes target the safe haven, forcing players to rely on walls, gates, towers, melee weapons, ranged armaments, vehicles, and fortifications to hold the line.
Scavenging abandoned buildings yields vital resources, but sending survivors inside carries constant risk from hidden infected. Beyond the undead, players also encounter rival groups of survivors—some willing to trade and cooperate, while others present a hostile threat to the zone.
