Tarsier Studios has released the first of three planned expansions for their co-op horror adventure Reanimal. Titled The Prisoner, the DLC is available now on PlayStation 5 for $9.99 / £7.99.
The expansion adds a new story set within the game's world, focusing on two players taking on the roles of the Prisoner and the Soldier. Players will navigate war-ravaged environments, including previously unseen areas, as part of a narrative that the studio describes as a journey through a "rabbit hole" of harrowing situations.

The Prisoner marks the beginning of a post-launch content roadmap for the title. Tarsier Studios has confirmed that two additional chapters are currently in development to continue the DLC journey, with the second installment arriving toward the end of 2026 and the final chapter slated for early 2027.
