Ubisoft Singapore has outlined plans for future post-launch support for Assassin's Creed: Black Flag Resynced. While the studio has not provided a specific roadmap, director Richard Knight confirmed that the development team is currently prioritizing quality-of-life improvements and new gameplay features to keep players engaged.

Upcoming Features and Quality-of-Life Fixes

The primary focus for the team at this stage is the development of a New Game Plus mode. While Knight could not confirm a release date, he indicated that it is currently in active development.

Beyond the new game mode, the studio is addressing player feedback regarding character customization and movement. Planned updates include:

  • Blowpipe Visibility: A fix to allow players to hide the blowpipe when it is equipped so it no longer appears on the character's back.
  • Catch Ledge Mechanic: The team is working on implementing the catch ledge mechanic featured in Assassin's Creed Shadows.
  • Mission Objectives: Developers are considering adding additional side objectives to missions, though this remains unconfirmed.

Post-Launch Commitment

During a recent video interview, Knight acknowledged that the team is still working to resolve technical bugs currently affecting the game. Addressing the broader competitive landscape, he encouraged fans to continue playing Black Flag Resynced even after the eventual release of Grand Theft Auto VI.

Assassin's Creed: Black Flag Resynced launched on July 9, 2026, and has reached 3 million units sold. The most recent patch, update 1.04, is currently available to download.
