If you have been sinking hours into Vampire Crawlers on PS5, today's latest update should make your runs even more manageable. The dungeon-crawling, card-battling spin-off of Vampire Survivors has received a new patch, weighing in at approximately 385 MB, which is available to download and install now.
Quality-of-Life Improvements and New Features
Developer Poncle and Nosebleed Interactive have addressed several community requests with this release. The most significant additions focus on streamlining the gameplay experience and providing more control over your card deck:
- Endless Mode: An optional post-game challenge has been added.
- Card Management: You can now sort cards in your hand by color or mana cost.
- Deck Visibility: A new view allows you to see your entire deck of cards at once.
- Interface Adjustments: The 'Quit Game' option is now easier to access, and the Grim Grimoire is now reachable from the level-up screen.
- Evolution Notifications: The level-up screen will now notify you if a card can evolve based on your existing cards, provided the evolution has already been discovered.
- Jeweller Clarity: General improvements have been made to the Jeweller feature.
A Roadmap of Content for 2026
This patch is just the start of a busy year for Vampire Crawlers. Earlier this June, the team announced a full 2026 content roadmap, which promises three major updates for the title: Death Parade, Bone Deep, and Curdled Tunnels.
Each of these upcoming updates is set to introduce a post-game Challenge Stage featuring a unique mechanic. For instance, the Death Parade update will introduce a constraint on hand size. Once players conquer these specific Challenge Stages, the mechanics will be unlocked for use in the main game, allowing for more difficult runs if you are looking for an extra challenge. Furthermore, each of these three content drops will bring new areas, cards, gems, and arcanas to expand current build possibilities.
