Gameplay and Development Goals
Wardogs features large-scale, combined-arms combat for up to 100 players. The primary game mode, Control Zone, tasks three mercenary teams with capturing objectives and securing cash, which can be reinvested into weapons and vehicles during matches.
At the start of early access, the game will include three maps, each with three variations, alongside a selection of weapons and vehicles. Bulkhead intends to use the early access period—expected to last roughly two years—to focus on balance, performance, stability, and bug fixes based on player feedback.
The studio has confirmed there will be no in-game monetization during the early access launch, though paid cosmetics are planned for the full release. Only "Supporters edition" cosmetics will be available at the start of early access.
