Publisher Good Smile Company and developer Chime Corporation have announced that PATLABOR the Case Files will launch for the PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam on September 17, 2026. The 3D action title lets players relive iconic scenes from the PATLABOR series through dedicated main and side missions.

Players can choose between two launch versions:

Gameplay and Story Structure
Set within the Tokyo Metropolitan Police universe where industrial robots known as Labors have given rise to specialized crimes, the game puts players in the cockpit of iconic units like the Ingram, Griffon, and Type Zero. Missions are split between Main Missions and Another Side Missions, offering perspectives from both Special Vehicles Section 2 and opposing forces.
A dedicated “Simulator Mode” features over 20 playable Labors for target practice and Labor-versus-Labor battles. The main story includes full voice acting for Division 2 members.
