War Thunder developer Gaijin Entertainment has opened submissions for the 238th Steam Screenshot Competition, inviting PC players to capture vehicles in motion across battlefields, dogfights, and naval waters. Six winners will each receive 300 Golden Eagles (GE) following the conclusion of the event.

How to Enter and Win
To participate in the contest, players must upload a new, raw screenshot capturing a vehicle in motion—such as a tank scrambling across a battlefield, an aircraft in a dogfight, or a ship at sea. Submissions must be posted to the War Thunder Steam Community Hub using the exact tag #WTscreen238, and titles cannot contain any other text.
Participants are restricted to using filters, settings, and replay functionality built directly into War Thunder. Editing software, Nvidia Ansel filters, and external visual enhancements are prohibited. Additionally, artists may only win by popular vote once per four screenshot competitions.
Winner Selection and Payouts
Six total winners will be chosen after the August 28 deadline: three determined by the highest community ratings and three selected directly by judges. Rewards of 300 GE will be delivered to each winning author's account within 14 working days.
The event follows the conclusion of the 237th edition, "Blue Frontiers," which highlighted community favorites and judge picks from Zigamet Drystahlyst, [LYF]Levi o Lusitano, Elysia=华夏beluga·爱莉希, 战就战、饺子, GoК, and ExplosiveBerries101.
