Gaijin Entertainment has officially kicked off the 235th edition of the War Thunder Steam screenshot competition. Following the recent "Changing Tides" event, the developers are now inviting players to submit new imagery featuring their personal vehicles.
How to Enter
Participation is limited to the War Thunder Steam Community Hub. To enter, you must upload a new, raw screenshot of your vehicle and title it using the mandatory tag #WTscreen235. The submission window closes on August 7, 2026.
While players are encouraged to use the game's built-in replay functionality and native filters, the use of external editing software or visual enhancement tools like Nvidia Ansel is strictly prohibited. Entries must feature at least one player-controlled vehicle to be eligible.
Prizes and Selection
A total of six winners will be chosen after the August 7 deadline. The selection process is split into two categories:
- Community Favorites: The three screenshots with the highest community ratings.
- Judge Selections: Three additional winners chosen directly by the development team.
Each of the six winners will receive a reward of 300 Golden Eagles (GE), which will be delivered to the author's account within 14 working days of the winners' announcement. Note that artists are restricted to winning by popular vote no more than once per four competition cycles.
