Gaijin Entertainment has officially opened submissions for the 233rd edition of the War Thunder Steam Screenshot Competition. This recurring event invites players to capture high-action combat moments, with the current iteration focusing on “live fire” imagery.
Submission Guidelines and Requirements
To participate in the #WTscreen233 contest, entrants must upload a raw screenshot of a vehicle firing its armament to the War Thunder Steam Community Hub. The submission title must exclusively contain the required tag #WTscreen233, with no additional text included.
The developer has outlined specific rules for eligibility:
- Content: The screenshot must feature a vehicle actively firing its weapon.
- Technical: Only raw screenshots from the game are accepted. Players are prohibited from using external editing software or third-party visual enhancements, such as Nvidia Ansel filters.
- Built-in Tools: Use of the game's internal replay functionality and built-in filters or settings is permitted.
- Originality: Submissions must be new and cannot have been published or entered in previous competitions.
- Frequency: Artists are limited to winning via popular vote no more than once every four competitions.
Submissions are open until July 24, 2026. A total of six winners will be chosen—three based on community popularity and three selected by the internal judging panel. Each winner will receive 300 Golden Eagles (GE) credited to their account within 14 working days of the winners' announcement.

The judges selected entries from flunecy, m10, and COMANDANTE as the top submissions for that round. Each of these winners has been awarded 300GE.
