Developers have announced that Update #2 is rolling out today, following a brief maintenance window. Servers are expected to go offline for 30 to 45 minutes, after which the new patch will be live. Players are advised to exit the game and download the update as soon as the maintenance period concludes.

Server Stability and Technical Fixes

This update arrives as a replacement for yesterday's patch, which was reverted due to server availability issues that left players stuck on the "Connecting" screen. Beyond fixing that critical login bug, the team has worked on several technical performance improvements:

  • BattlEye: Tweaked to reduce false-positive bans.
  • Performance: Occlusion changes have been implemented to provide a minor boost to overall game performance.
  • Visuals: Fixed oversaturated boxes and props in the lobby, and resolved an issue where character bodies could remain suspended in the air after death.
  • Exploits: Addressed item duplication bugs and resolved issues where players could enter compartments by sliding on ladders.

Movement and Combat Improvements

A significant portion of this update is dedicated to refining how characters interact with the world. The controller has received a series of adjustments to fix issues with parkour, movement, and getting stuck on difficult terrain. Hit registration has also been improved to make combat feel more responsive.

Trampler-related issues have been a major focus, with developers resolving collision glitches that were causing excessive shaking or erratic "flying" behavior. Interaction bugs—such as invisible trampler parts—have also been addressed, though the team is asking players to report if these persist.

Combat behavior for Upiors has been updated; they now feature collision with players, more natural movement, and the ability to operate cannons. Notably, Upiors will now vacate cannons when a player approaches.

Weapon and Economy Balancing

The update introduces several balance shifts to keep gameplay competitive:

  • Cannons: Recoil for 80mm cannons has been increased, and the T3 80mm reload time has been bumped from 2.5 to 3 seconds.
  • Ammo: 40mm ammo now has improved range, while 70mm ammo sees a 20% increase in projectile count but a 20% decrease in siege damage.
  • Shotguns: Triple barrel shotgun fire rate has been slowed by 30%.
  • Economy: The energy rod sell price on contract platforms has been corrected from 450 to 50. Canned Sea Deer XL sell prices have been increased to 500, while MedKit sell prices have been dropped to 20.

The developers have also clarified terminology regarding turrets. The "Load Turret" action is now labeled "Transfer Content" to better reflect that it moves shells from a container into the turret's inventory rather than loading them directly.

Known Issues

While this update addresses many bugs, the team acknowledges that some issues remain, including characters occasionally getting stuck at the top of ladders, potential transparency in Spectator mode, and the inability to crouch while carrying a Repair Kit. A full list of these known issues is available on the official Steam news hub.
