Morningrise Games has announced Red Echoes: Berlin, a new narrative-driven turn-based strategy game coming to PC later in 2026. The game centers on the events of the German November Revolution, taking place during the final days of World War I between 1918 and 1919.

Gameplay and Setting

Players navigate a map of Berlin designed with aesthetics inspired by Weimar-era graphic art. The campaign is structured into three chapters, each following a different agitator with unique abilities. Players will interact with historical figures, including Karl Liebknecht and Rosa Luxemburg, as they attempt to influence the political climate of a city struggling with wartime losses and resource shortages.

The developer notes that the game will feature multiple endings, ranging from total defeat to a successful revolution. A single playthrough is expected to last between three and four hours.

Studio Background

Morningrise Games is a new studio. According to the development team, the founder previously worked on Suzerain and its associated DLC. While the aesthetic and mechanical focus on narrative-driven strategy draw comparisons to Suzerain, the founder of Morningrise Games has not yet publicly identified themselves.

The game is currently listed on Steam, where the developers have noted that the setting is heavily influenced by the aftermath of the Great War and the political shift inspired by events in Russia a year prior to the game's start date.
