Behind the Counter on Route 66
Set along the same stretch of Route 66 familiar to Gas Station Simulator players, the Prologue drops you into Becky’s roadside diner as a short-order cook. With business overwhelming the titular owner, you have to manage the kitchen rush, cook dishes, pour coffee refills, seat guests, wash dishes, and handle inventory.
Neglecting the dining room brings uninvited pests like cockroaches, while success builds your rapport with Becky, truckers, and highway regulars. Studio Head Lucjan Mikociak noted that the release gives players a new angle on a familiar setting.
What Comes Next in 2026
The Prologue is built in Unreal Engine 5 and supports nine languages, including English, German, French, Spanish, Polish, Turkish, Ukrainian, Russian, and Brazilian Portuguese. Minimum PC requirements call for an Intel Core i3-class processor, 8GB of RAM, and a GTX 900-series GPU, while recommended specs require a Core i5, 16GB of RAM, and a GTX 1070 or better.
Drago Entertainment plans to follow the Prologue with a more extensive demo featuring 4-player online co-op later this year, leading up to the full 1.0 launch targeted for Q3 2026. The title joins the developer's expanding simulation lineup, which also includes Roadhouse Simulator and Airport Contraband.
