Saber Interactive has released the Confrontation Update for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, bringing Year 2 of the game to a close. Available now on PC via Steam and other platforms, Patch 14.0 introduces major additions to both PvP and PvE modes, alongside fresh cosmetic DLC.

New PvP Arenas and Eternal War Rewards
The Eternal War game mode expands with two new arenas in this update. Players can now battle across Sanctum on Avarax and Facility on Demerium.
Along with the new maps, Patch 14.0 brings weekly PvP rewards and Ordeals. By participating in Eternal War matches and completing Datavault challenges, players earn exclusive accolades and cosmetics.
PvE Threat: Thousand Sons Terminator Sorcerer
Player-versus-environment missions also get deadlier. A new Terminus enemy, the Thousand Sons Scarab Occult Terminator Sorcerer, now spawns in every Chaos Operation and throughout Siege mode.
To help face these heightened threats, the update introduces new Heroic weapons and armor pieces for players to unlock and equip.
New Cosmetic DLC Packs
The final Season Pass 2 cosmetic additions arrive with Patch 14.0, offering new customization options for specific Chapters:
- The Salamanders Champion Pack 2: Includes a new Heavy Champion skin and an exclusive Multi-Melta skin.
- The Raptors Cosmetic Pack: Features five unique armor pieces inspired by the Chapter's combat doctrine.
The complete patch notes and additional community events, such as the monthly Arch Enemies community event requiring three completed PvP matches, are live now in-game.
