A Wedding Night Murder and Tense Choices
STARCULT: Night Twisted Age centers on Silviya Nebula, a young noblewoman whose husband dies on their wedding night. That sudden tragedy plunges players into a murder case filled with dark magic, schemes, and hidden motives. Every character in the cast possesses distinct goals and needs, requiring careful navigation of relationships and dialogue paths.
The title stands out in the visual novel space through its Emotion Palette mechanic. Before replying in conversations, players select a mood for Silviya. This choice influences her tone, reveals hidden clues, alters character bonds, and can open up to 15 different dialogue options in specific talks. These moods gradually shape Silviya's traits and determine how others perceive her across multiple story routes and endings.
Linux and PC Release Details
The public demo is live on Steam now and is playable via Proton. While Not a Cat Studios has confirmed native support for Linux, Mac, and Windows for the full Q4 2026 launch, official Steam Deck verification details, Proton performance metrics, and frame rate targets remain unconfirmed at this stage. Steam Next Fest will also take place prior to the final game release, though an exact launch date has not yet been set.
