VOID Interactive has detailed the upcoming features for Ready or Not, highlighting a newly announced Mission Editor scheduled for release in the coming weeks. The free update aims to increase replayability by letting players modify AI characters and gameplay variables to create custom scenarios on PC.

Mission Editor Features and Modifiers

The upcoming Ready or Not Mission Editor gives players deep control over tactical parameters. Using the modifier suite, users can swap suspect appearances between levels, arm all suspects with specific weapons such as knives or M249s, alter civilian behaviors, and restrict player health to 50hp. Once edited, custom missions can be created, saved, and shared with squad mates and the community.

Community Partnerships and Mod Highlights

Alongside the editor announcement, VOID Interactive confirmed a partnership with charity organization Stack Up, which supports US and allied veterans through gaming and geek culture by combating veteran suicide and promoting mental health. Stack Up is currently hosting a Tiltify campaign featuring the Weight Of The Badge Collection.

The developer also showcased recent community contributions via Nexus Mods and community hubs, including:

  • Presidio — The Old Guard by silversoulart: A classic franchise map download.
  • EOD Bomb Suit by VoltsCorp: Heavy protection equipment for LSPD officers.
  • MK18 Airsoft Rifle by OttoVonSchneider: A less-lethal rifle featuring new audio and fully functioning gas blowback capability.
  • Beard For Judge by VoltsCorp: A cosmetic appearance modification for character Judge.

Additionally, the community speedrun by thickskinjacket was highlighted as a verified world record run, and Episode 12 of the "Down The Rabbit Hole" series, titled "Relapse," was released on YouTube covering the Coastal Grove Medical Center attack by The Hand.
