Developer Froke has rolled out Update 1.0.5 for Project P.I.T.T. on PC via Steam. The fresh patch introduces a new multi-level inventory upgrade, several quality-of-life adjustments, and multiple fixes targeting progression blockers and control issues.

Quick Facts

  • Game: Project P.I.T.T.
  • Update: Version 1.0.5
  • Platform: PC (Steam)
  • Developer: Froke

Key Confirmed Changes

Update 1.0.5 adds the Panel Rack, a multi-level upgrade allowing players to carry more than one panel simultaneously. For session management, a new Clear Items button sits in the pause menu to remove problem items threatening to crash or break the game, though it offers no money refund.

Quitting the game now prompts an "Are you sure?" confirmation message alongside a dedicated "Save and quit" choice. Additionally, double-tapping the reset rotation input quickly places objects flat.

Bug Fixes and Control Adjustments

The patch resolves several persistent movement and interaction snags. Players will no longer spawn directly above a hole and fall repeatedly, nor will they get stuck in the spawn tube if a mountain of tools blocks the exit. Key items are protected from getting permanently stuck inside walls; they will either respawn or—in the case of ores—be added directly to the bank.

Control rebinding sees a complete overhaul. Every action can now be rebound individually, including scrolling up and down, and an invisible action that previously blocked certain key rebinds without explanation has been removed. Furthermore, the Torch Light and UV Lamp now collect properly and function immediately upon collection, provided players press T by default to turn them on. Finally, physical buttons now correctly respond to Interact (F), equip (E), and grab/drop (LMB).

The update is live now on Steam for all PC players.
